The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, reiterated that the incentives offered by the ministry to U.S. investors seeking to enter the Saudi market are the same as those offered to Saudi companies, noting that investment in the industrial sector offers various incentives, such as industrial land in all regions of the Kingdom and financing for industrial projects amounting to 75% of the total investment; thus, any incentives available to Saudi investors are also available to American or foreign investors.
Dr. Al-Rabiah reassured that large projects are not competitors but rather catalysts for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as they rely on SMEs to meet their needs and increase their investment opportunities, adding “We currently have an authority that will provide greater incentives and incentives to small and medium-sized enterprises, and we hope it will play a larger role.”
