The comprehensive expropriation system provides a reference for land valuation bases at the level of Jeddah governorate, where the system can complete all procedures for expropriation transactions, starting with the steps of analyzing and studying the geographical dimension of the project site, through the procedures of identifying the properties located within the geographical space of the project and ending with the completion of all procedures for expropriation transactions for citizens and facilitating the completion of their transactions.

Jeddah Municipality revealed this during the launch of the system, which is considered one of the most advanced electronic systems in the field of geographic information systems, and the ceremony was attended by Dr. Hani Aburas, Secretary of Jeddah Governorate and Dr. Abdullatif Al-Harthy, Deputy Secretary for Reconstruction. On this occasion, Dr. Al-Harthi explained that the comprehensive expropriation system was accomplished by shifting towards electronic services to facilitate procedures and provide the best services to the beneficiaries.

Al-Harthi explained that the system was designed to coincide with the expansion of the scope of existing and future development and urban projects, to ensure the provision of services by the Municipality to citizens affected by the projects by raising the quality of services provided by automating all transaction procedures according to high-quality professional standards.

About the advantages of the system, Al-Harthi revealed that it facilitates procedures between the concerned departments of the Projects Agency, Construction Agency, Provincial Municipalities Agency, Supporting Works Agency and other relevant departments and engineering offices, as well as linking with various relevant government agencies such as the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce and issuing the letter addressed to each notary public and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
