His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, explained that the Jazan region has witnessed the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for a number of development projects worth over 5.3 billion riyals, confirms the region’s continued progress on its development path, focusing on creating opportunities and achieving sustainable development in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and placing people at the center of attention.
His Excellency noted, in a press briefing yesterday, the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Jazan Region, and his continued commitment and oversight of development projects, as well as his empowerment of the Jazan Municipality to have a direct impact on improving the lives of the region’s residents, The Jazan Region—rich in its people and geographical diversity—represents one of the pillars of promising growth in the Kingdom, where the national vision converges with local potential to shape a sustainable future of development.
Mr. Majid Al-Hogail noted that Jazan is undergoing a rapid development journey thanks to the support of the wise leadership —may God support them—which has transformed plans into tangible, realistic projects that have directly impacted citizens" lives, raised living standards, and enhanced the region’s appeal for housing and investment since 2020, adding that the region has benefited from housing, municipal, and infrastructure projects worth over 17 billion riyals in the areas of ”housing, roads, stormwater drainage, and the urban landscape,” to meet people’s needs and future aspirations.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing concluded that Jazan is steadily moving toward its 2030 goals, with its authentic identity, its strategic location, and its people, who have been and will remain the focus and purpose of development, with a growing presence on the map of the nation’s future, with confidence and merit.
