Real estate registration period ends in Hail and Riyadh regions Next Thursday

the General Real Estate Authority that the deadline for the initial registration of 148,432 real estate parcels in the Hail and Riyadh regions is approaching, with the deadline set for the end of next Thursday.

Registration closes for the following neighborhoods in Al-Rain Governorate in the Riyadh Region: (Ahd, Al-Nasifa, Al-Rawama, Al-Bada’i, Al-Qamash, Upper Al-Rain, Al-Huwail, Al-Yamamah, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Nour, Al-Rafiah, and Al-Rafai".)

The Authority has called on owners of properties located within these neighborhoods to promptly register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform (https://rer.sa/) before the registration deadline expires, in order to benefit from services related to real estate transactions and to document all changes made to the property.“

It clarified that the Real Estate Registry will issue a ”property number” and a title deed for each registered property unit; the new deed will include the property’s precise geographic location, the owner’s details, its description, its condition, the associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions involving it; this will serve as the basis for documenting ownership and the resulting real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.
The Authority emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee specialized in reviewing violations, noting that applications for real estate registration will continue to be accepted in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement expires.

It is worth noting that the National Real Estate Registration Services Company (the Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom; using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
