During its inspection campaigns recently carried out at real estate offices, seized 40 non-compliant offices in Riyadh. The violations included exceeding the sales or rental commission rate of (2.5 %) of the contract value for a period of one year or repeating such violations, combining real estate activities with other activities at the same location, employing non-Saudi workers, failing to use the registered trade name, and failing to update commercial registry data. Penalties and fines were imposed on the violating agencies.

It is worth noting that the Ministry continuously monitors the activities of real estate and general services offices and verifies the legality of their operations, and the Ministry conducted more than 500 inspection tours of real estate and general services offices last year in the city of Riyadh.
