Real Estate Registry announced today, Sunday, March 29, 2026, the start of receiving applications for the first in-kind registration for (14,750) real estate pieces in the Mecca region, and the registration includes the following neighborhoods in Jeddah Governorate: (Al Rayyan neighborhood, part of Al Salama neighborhood, part of Al Khalidiya neighborhood, part of Al Quzain neighborhood, part of Al Wadi neighborhood).
Real Estate Registry explained that property owners located within the scope of these neighborhoods must register their properties before the end of Thursday, July 2, 2026, calling on property owners to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.Property owners must register their properties during the specified period to benefit from the services of the Real Estate Registry, carry out real estate transactions easily and conveniently, and avoid the penalties and fines set by the Real Estate Registration System.
The Real Estate Registry confirmed that it continues its work in registering properties in the areas benefiting from the real estate registry, as part of its efforts to increase reliability and transparency in the sector by building a comprehensive real estate registry for real estate information in the Kingdom, to be a unified reference for all real estate data.<The real estate registry will issue a “property number” and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered. The new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it, to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, thus contributing to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.The real estate zones are defined according to several criteria, and based on the role of the General Authority for Real Estate as the competent authority for the in-kind registration of real estate in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers and the provisions of the Real Estate Registration Law, while the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) will carry out the work of establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
