Implementation of 28 plans with more than 15 million square meters to increase the housing supply in Jeddah

Jeddah Municipality revealed that 28 private plans are currently under implementation, as part of its ongoing work to approve and develop residential plans and raise their readiness, to support the growth of real estate supply and keep pace with urban expansion in the province, and enhance the quality of life.

The Municipality explained that these plans include 7,957 plots with a total area of more than 15,718,362 square meters, while the green areas amounted to about 743,927 square meters, including children's games, bicycle and walking paths, in addition to sports fields, road lengths of 587,298 linear meters, in addition to infrastructure networks with a total length of (2,447,118) linear meters.

The Municipality indicated that it has received 19 private plans during the past three years 2023-2025, containing 5,904 plots with a total area of 9,030,491 square meters, while green areas amounted to 350,956 square meters, road lengths of 231,211 linear meters, and the implementation of infrastructure networks with a total length of (1,433,100 linear meters).

Jeddah Municipality pointed out that infrastructure development projects in private plans are one of the main pillars in achieving sustainable urban and economic development in the city, as they contribute to raising the level of services and enhancing the quality of life, within a strategic approach that aims to support the real estate sector and enable developers to implement quality projects that contribute to achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by building integrated urban communities that combine modernity, sustainability and quality of life.
