«Interior»: A fine of up to 100,000 riyals for harboring visit visa holders in Mecca

Interior Ministry warns against harboring visit visa holders in Mecca during the Hajj season and calls for reporting violators via emergency numbers

Ministry of Interior has confirmed the application of a fine of up to (100,000) riyals against anyone who shelters visit visa holders of all types in any place intended for housing (hotels, apartments, private housing, shelters, shelter houses, Hajj housing, and others), or covering up for them, or providing any assistance to them that leads to their stay in the city of Makkah and the holy sites starting from the first day of Dhu al-Qa'dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, and the fines are multiplied by the number of violators who are harbored, covered up or provided assistance to them.The Ministry of Interior called on everyone to abide by the instructions governing this year's Hajj season (1447 AH) and cooperate with the competent authorities to achieve the security and safety of the pilgrims, stressing that violating these instructions exposes the perpetrators to regular penalties.
She called for the initiative to report violators via the number (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh and Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom.
