Real estate registry work begins in Makkah and Eastern Provinces Next Sunday

Public Authority for Real Estate has announced the start of work Real Estate Registration for (142) real estate pieces in (12) neighborhoods in the Makkah region, including (10) neighborhoods in Makkah city and two neighborhoods in Jeddah governorate, while the real estate registration works for (62) real estate pieces in one neighborhood in the Eastern Province will start from May 10, 2026, corresponding to 23 Dhu'lqa'dah 1447H, until the end of August 13, 2026, corresponding to 30 Safar 1448H.

Neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry
The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry in this phase in Makkah are: (part of Al-Furqan neighborhood, part of Al-Maqam neighborhood, part of Jaarana neighborhood, part of Al-Fathah neighborhood, part of Al-Maqam neighborhood, part of Al-Naqa new neighborhood), while the registration includes the following neighborhoods in Jeddah: (part of Tayba neighborhood, part of Riyadh neighborhood), indicating that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration work in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced in succession during the coming periods.<She pointed out that the first registration of real estate in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, indicating that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

Calling owners to register properties
The Authority invited property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and to inquire about the steps of registration through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information, which contributes to enhancing the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to raise real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
