Roshen Group, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has announced the launch of ROSHN Community Foundation to operate, manage and develop public services and facilities, including mosques, parks and schools, in addition to institutionalizing social and developmental work within communities and beyond in accordance with governance and sustainable models.
The Foundation's Board of Trustees will be chaired by HRH Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, with board members from ROSHN Group's executive leadership and independent members to add qualitative and diverse expertise to support the Foundation in reaching its goals, reflecting the excellence of board members in providing the guidance and support needed to develop an integrated strategic plan commensurate with impact and targeted growth.
The Foundation will work with ROSHN Group's partners to develop an integrated strategic plan that is commensurate with the impact and targeted growth of ROSHN Foundation's mission. In collaboration with Roshen Group“s public, private, non-profit and community partners, the Foundation will work to manage and optimize the assets in the communities and destinations developed by ROSHN Group through a sustainable business model, as well as community development by developing and launching social programs and initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life.<It will lead efforts to promote sustainable development by launching a range of programs and initiatives that promote community development, environmental sustainability and volunteering, enhancing community engagement and providing a tangible impact that enhances the quality of life through the Foundation's future programs.
The Foundation will reflect ROSHN Group's vision to invest sustainably in public facilities within and outside its communities, to continue to create an environment that promotes engagement, social impact, community enrichment and quality of life. ROSHN Group will continue to leverage its national expertise to launch and implement community projects and initiatives with sustainable impact through its social responsibility program that focuses on community development, environmental sustainability and community well-being, reflecting the Group's pioneering role and its continued contributions to quality of life, economic diversification and job creation.
