The growth of the Saudi healthcare sector—the largest market in the region—is driven by steady population growth and increased spending on healthcare, which has led to a surge in investments attracting companies from around the world to strengthen this vital sector, improve the quality and services of healthcare in the Kingdom, and meet the growing demand.
Estimates indicate that investment in the healthcare sector will reach 41 billion riyals over the next five years, with 40 investment opportunities available, according to the General Investment Authority.
The Saudi Health Expo, scheduled to take place from 9 – 11 Sha’ban 1437 AH (corresponding to May 16–18), is of vital importance for assessing developments in this sector, as it serves as an integrated platform bringing together the public sector—represented by the Ministry of Health and its affiliated agencies— and the private sector, to showcase available opportunities, finalize deals and partnerships, and introduce new products, services, and technologies—all of which contribute to supporting the Kingdom’s healthcare sector.
