The deadline for registering 459,515 parcels of real estate in three regions is tomorrow, Thursday

The General Real Estate Authority announced that the deadline for the first in-kind registration of real estate for (459,515) real estate parcels in the Riyadh, Makkah, and Madinah regions, which is set to end at the close of business tomorrow, Thursday, June 17, 2026.

Neighborhoods in the Riyadh region
It stated that the physical registration of real estate will end in the following neighborhoods in the Riyadh region within Al-Qasab Governorate: (Al-Nuzha Neighborhood, Al-Dira Neighborhood, Al-Shifa Neighborhood, Al-Aziziyah Neighborhood, Al-Khalidiyah Neighborhood, Al-Yasmin District, Al-Nahda District, Al-Faisaliyah District, Al-Sharafiyah District, and Al-Sina’iyah District). Registration will also end in the following districts in Thadig Governorate: (White Land Zoning Plan District, Land Zoning Plan District east of Plan 87, Al-Jami’ah District, Al-Wadi District, Al-Yarmouk District, Al-Aqiq District, the Government Land Zoning Plan District located east of Approved Plan No. 152 in the town of Ragha, King Abdullah District, the Thadig Industrial Zone Zoning Plan District, the Government Land Zoning Plan neighborhood located north of Approved Plan No. 152 in the town of Ragha, the Ahwash al-Aghnam, Feed Market, and Barley Zoning Plan neighborhood in Thadig Governorate, the Al-Nakhil neighborhood, the Al-Aziziyah neighborhood, the Al-Faisaliyah neighborhood, the Al-Khalidiyah neighborhood, the district of the land-use plan for lands east of Plan No. 242, the Eastern Al-Khalidiyah District, the district of the revision plan for Plan No. 133 in the town of Al-Ruwai’dah in Thadig, Al-Janadriyah District; the government land development plan area located north of the approved Plan No. 1/Th/1412. Registration ends in the following neighborhoods in the Madinah Region, namely: (part of Al-Jassa neighborhood, part of Rahat neighborhood, part of Al-Jabira neighborhood, part of Sad Al-Ghaba neighborhood, part of Wadi Al-Hamd neighborhood, part of Al-Sadqiyah neighborhood, part of Al-Ghaba neighborhood, part of Wadi Muzainib neighborhood, part of Al-Shafiyah neighborhood, part of Al-Rawd neighborhood, part of the Wa’ira neighborhood, part of the Al-Matar neighborhood, part of the Al-Qubaybah neighborhood, part of the Jabal "Air neighborhood, the Al-Sakib neighborhood, and the Al-Dhabi neighborhood), while registration is also closing for a number of real estate parcels in the governorates of Al-Hanakiyah and Al-Ula.
The Authority called on owners of properties located within these neighborhoods to promptly register their properties through the Land Registry platform (https://rer.sa/) before the registration deadline expires, in order to benefit from services for executing real estate transactions and documenting all changes affecting the property.
It clarified that the Real Estate Registry will issue a "property number” and a title deed for each registered property unit. The new title deed will include the property’s precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions affecting it; serving as the basis for documenting ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.
The Authority emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee specialized in reviewing violations, and that applications for real estate registration will continue to be accepted in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement has ended.
It should be noted that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (the Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and trust in real estate services and data.
