The Medina Region Secretariat has launched new investment opportunities through the “Opportunities” investment portal for Saudi cities "Opportunities" portal, with the aim of enhancing quality of life, developing facilities and services, and improving the efficiency of municipal asset investment, thereby contributing to economic and urban development in the region.
The investment opportunities included the construction, operation, and maintenance of a park on Bashir bin al-Bara’ Road —may Allah be pleased with him—in the Wadi Mahzur neighborhood, covering an area of 4,403.98 square meters, under an investment contract spanning 25 years, with a grace period of up to 30 months.
The site is characterized by a high population density, a variety of nearby commercial activities, and easy access via major roads, while the opportunity allows for the development of (25%) of the site’s total area for commercial, educational, healthcare, and sports activities, thereby contributing to the diversification of services offered within the park and enhancing the utilization of its facilities.
The opportunities included the construction, operation, and maintenance of a mixed-use building at the intersection of Abdulrahman bin Hussein Road and Ali Al-Handeedi Road in the Al-Shorouk Housing Project in the Wadi Al-Batan neighborhood, on an area of (6,038.12) square meters, under a 20-year investment contract with a 24-month grace period.
The project serves a growing residential community, and is characterized by easy access via the main road network, as well as its suitability for commercial activities, restaurants, cafes, and medical clinics. It also boasts strong operational fundamentals that will contribute to the project’s rapid launch and the achievement of sustainable operating returns.
The opportunities also included the construction, operation, and maintenance of a mixed-use building, featuring restaurants, cafes, retail spaces, and administrative offices on King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Road (Third Ring Road) at its intersection with Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Road in the Warqan neighborhood, on a 12,624.76-square-meter site, under a 25-year investment contract with a grace period of up to 30 months. The project is located in one of the most promising and dynamic areas, which is experiencing urban growth and expansion in commercial activities, and is easily accessible via the main road network, thereby enhancing its chances of success and generating sustainable investment returns.
The Secretariat emphasized that these opportunities are part of its ongoing efforts to create an attractive investment environment, and to promote private-sector participation in the development of facilities and services, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and develop Saudi cities.
