Prince Saud bin Jalawi Inspects Water and Infrastructure Projects in Jeddah

49 water and infrastructure projects in Jeddah, at a cost of 6.65 billion riyals, to improve services for 1.2 million beneficiaries and promote sustainability

His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, reviewed—at a meeting held at the governorate headquarters yesterday, Sunday—the infrastructure projects being implemented by the National Water Company in the province—a total of 49 projects with a combined cost exceeding 6.65 billion riyals, including 22 water projects and 27 environmental projects, with the aim of increasing service coverage and improving service quality for more than 1.2 million beneficiaries.

His Highness listened to a presentation by the head of the Western Sector at the National Water Company, Engineer Muhammad Al-Zahrani, and a number of the company’s senior executives, which addressed the progress of the projects and operational plans aimed at enhancing water sustainability and improving the efficiency of water and environmental services.
His Highness the Governor of Jeddah emphasized the importance of continuing to implement the projects according to the approved timelines and accelerating their pace, thereby contributing to improving service quality, enhancing the reliability of water distribution, and achieving the province’s development and sustainability goals.
