The the General Real Estate Authority the mechanism for Saudi residents and companies to own real estate through the “Saudi Real Estate” portal, specifying the requirements and procedures necessary to complete the process electronically.
According to the Authority’s announcement, individuals residing in the Kingdom must hold a valid residence permit, as well as an active account on the “Absher” platform and the “Nafath” national app. As for Saudi companies, ownership requires a valid commercial registration within the Kingdom. The Authority noted that the ownership procedures consist of four main steps, beginning with single sign-on via the “Nafath” app for individuals and companies, followed by account creation and identity verification, followed by verification that the property to be purchased meets the relevant conditions and regulations.

The next stage involves selecting the property and initiating the necessary procedures to complete the purchase, while the process concludes with the electronic issuance of a title deed or ownership document in the beneficiary’s name. The General Real Estate Authority confirmed that all steps are carried out through the “Saudi Real Estate” portal, which allows beneficiaries to complete the ownership procedures digitally in accordance with approved regulations.
