The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing confirmed that it is continuing to monitor collective housing for individuals across various regions of the Kingdom, noting that reports submitted via the “Baladi” platform or the unified number (940) serve as an effective support channel that helps the relevant authorities monitor and address violations, thereby reinforcing compliance with technical and health requirements as well as safety standards.
It explained that receiving reports through official channels increases the efficiency of follow-up efforts and enables specialized teams to quickly address violations and take the necessary regulatory measures; to safeguard public health and safety and curb irregular practices that may affect the quality of residential neighborhoods.

The Ministry noted that the regulation of collective housing for individuals is part of comprehensive efforts led by the Ministry through the “National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals,” in partnership with relevant government agencies; with the aim of developing and regulating the sector, improve the quality of housing allocated to workers, and provide a safe, healthy, and sustainable living environment, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and promote urban sustainability.
It emphasized the need to continue coordinating with relevant authorities to improve compliance with the regulations and requirements governing collective housing, while continuing to conduct on-site inspection tours.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing called on members of the public to use official channels when reporting any violations, emphasizing that public awareness and effective reporting support the efforts of regulatory authorities and contribute to the prompt resolution of issues and the preservation of the quality of the residential environment.
