Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, Chairman of the General Real Estate Authority , expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership —may God support them—for the support and attention given to the real estate sector, following the Cabinet’s approval to transfer the digital and operational services directly related to real estate registration—which represent a fundamental part of the integrated real estate system.
Al-Hammad said in a tweet on his “X” account that the decision represents a strategic step that will enhance the integration of the real estate system and unify its regulatory framework, thereby contributing to increased service efficiency and improved quality of real estate transactions.
He added that this step bolsters confidence in the real estate market and supports the development process, given the sector’s ongoing growth with the support and attention of the wise leadership.
The the Council of Ministers during its session yesterday, Tuesday, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect him— approved the transfer of digital and operational services directly related to real estate documentation—which constitute an essential part of the integrated real estate system, including its technical infrastructure, operational teams, and data—to the General Real Estate Authority. These services include: (the Real Estate Exchange Platform, the “Al-Borsa” mobile app, the Comprehensive System, the Data Coding System, the Document Digitization System, and the Basic Data Entry System), within (six) months.
