The University of Ha'il, in collaboration with the Regional Secretariat, launched an initiative the day before yesterday titled “The Engineer’s Path,” with the aim of strengthening the practical aspect of education and linking academic outcomes to development projects by introducing students to the region’s most prominent engineering and urban projects.
The initiative, which targeted students in the College of Engineering, an introduction to the program’s objectives and its importance in developing professional and engineering skills, as well as the roles played by engineering entities in the planning and implementation of development projects. It also covered the stages of project implementation, the engineering solutions applied, urban planning mechanisms, the management of infrastructure, quality of life, and urban landscape development; thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified national professionals capable of meeting the demands of the job market.
The initiative is part of Hail University’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with government agencies and provide field learning opportunities for its students, thereby helping to refine their practical experience and develop their ability to apply academic knowledge in work environments, support the goals of sustainable urban development, and advance Saudi Vision 2030.
