The the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center the June 2026 performance report on service providers, as part of its ongoing efforts to monitor performance indicators, enhance compliance, and improve the quality of infrastructure project implementation, thereby contributing to improved operational efficiency and greater transparency with relevant stakeholders.
Infrastructure Work Permits
The report highlighted that the Center has issued more than 18,000 permits for infrastructure projects, including 9,877 active licenses currently in progress, while the total number of licenses issued since the beginning of 2026 has exceeded 100,000, as part of its efforts to regulate project work and strengthen compliance with approved requirements and standards.
The total length of roads under construction for infrastructure projects reached (796) kilometers, reflecting the continued implementation of development projects and support for the development of road networks, services, and infrastructure in the region.

During the month of June, the center received more than 8,000 reports, of which 33% were reports of road subsidence, 28% were reports of standing water, and 8% regarding exposed manhole covers, while other reports accounted for 31%. The total number of reports received since the beginning of 2026 has exceeded 150,000, as part of the Center’s efforts to follow up on and address reports in coordination with service providers.
A number of violations were detected
The report indicated that the Center’s field teams identified a number of issues at project sites, most notably unclean work sites, dilapidated temporary barriers, and stockpiling outside the work area, underscoring the importance of continuing to raise compliance standards, improve the quality of execution, and maintain workplace safety.
The Center emphasized that periodic performance reports serve as a benchmark for measuring the performance of service providers, enhancing the efficiency of monitoring, and providing operational indicators that support decision-making, thereby contributing to improving the quality of infrastructure projects, enhancing the urban landscape, and improving the quality of life in the Riyadh region.
