The Saudi Energy Exhibition, organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company under the auspices of the Ministry of Water and Electricity, kicks off this evening in the capital, Riyadh. The exhibition, which runs from May 9–11, covers the electricity, solar energy, and lighting sectors.
The exhibition showcases the fundamentals of the energy sector and related topics, including energy supply structures and policies, as well as technical issues such as high efficiency in power generation and the operation of power plants, and the latest technologies in renewable energy systems, in addition to showcasing the newest environmental technology products and innovative techniques.
Companies from 20 countries are expected to showcase their products at this major event. Participating countries include Turkey, Germany, China, Italy, Austria, France, India, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, South Africa, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Dubai, England, Saudi Arabia, and others. This will provide an opportunity for solar energy and electricity companies to explore promising ideas and activities in the local and regional markets, especially since the Kingdom continues to hold a leading global position in electricity production and is considered number one in the Middle East and North Africa.
