The Saudi Contractors Authority, in collaboration with the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), the launch of a program to develop national talent for entry into construction sector; as part of its efforts to empower national talent and enhance their understanding of the sector’s opportunities, career paths, and professional requirements.

A Theoretical and Practical Track
The program aims to provide a theoretical and practical track for those interested in entering the construction sector, by introducing them to the sector’s environment and opportunities, the fundamentals of business establishment and management, and the challenges associated with projects, while also developing their knowledge of administrative, financial, and marketing aspects and providing them with the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of specialists and practitioners.
The program spans 28 days across three interconnected tracks, beginning with a five-day self-directed learning track in collaboration with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), starting August 23, 2026, and covers operational planning, preparing business plans, feasibility studies, human resources management, accounting for non-accountants, and marketing for startups.

In-person training and direct meetings with experts
This is followed by an in-person training track, hosted by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce for 15 days, which combines direct meetings with experts in the construction sector, hands-on activities, and field visits to construction sites; this allows participants to gain firsthand experience of the work environment and apply their training knowledge to the implementation phases and actual practices within projects. Field visits are a key component of the program, as they provide an opportunity for hands-on learning and the chance to benefit from the expertise of professionals at active construction sites.

The program concludes with an eight-day specialized track offered by the Saudi Contractors Authority Academy, covering topics in construction project management—from methodology to application— occupational safety and health, budget planning, and cost control; thereby enhancing participants" understanding of the administrative, technical, and financial aspects related to efficient project execution.
