Jeddah Mayor Discusses Latest Developments in Residential Projects in the Province with NHC

His Excellency Ihsan bin Abbas Bafqih, Secretary of the Jeddah Governorate, received at the Secretariat headquarters the Regional Director for the Western Region at NHC Nidal Mohammed Alam, along with his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in residential projects in the province, as well as the implementation stages of residential units and infrastructure works, as well as the readiness of roads, facilities, and services.

Challenges and joint solutions were discussed to accelerate the pace of work and enhance integration in project implementation, thereby contributing to the development of the urban environment and improving quality of life, and a review was presented of the company’s residential complexes in Jeddah Governorate, which include the projects (Sadaim, Al-Jani, Al-Bashair, Khayala, Al-Jawhara, Jeddah Heights, Al-Mayar, Al-Sadan, and Al-Wareef), which are spread over a total area of approximately 30 million square meters and provide more than 68,000 residential units within communities featuring parks, open spaces, and a variety of facilities and services.
A number of topics were discussed, including the integration of infrastructure and roads surrounding the residential developments, the enhancement of transportation links, as well as coordination regarding the operation and maintenance of networks and facilities, and addressing a number of challenges related to the projects.

The meeting is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and integration between the Secretariat and the company, with the aim of supporting the development of integrated urban communities, enhancing the quality of services and the urban environment, and contributing to improving the quality of life for Jeddah’s residents.
