The Al-Qassim Region Tourism Development Council, chaired by Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the region, reviewed a number of investment projects yesterday, Wednesday. Investors and businesspeople presented seven projects, including the region’s first five-star resort, His Highness also witnessed the signing of an agreement to operate a four-star hotel in the city of Buraidah and reviewed a project for eco-tourism camps in Al-Batin, north of Buraidah, which is considered the first of its kind in the region.
During the meeting, held at his office in the Emirate’s Diwan in Buraidah, the Emir of Al-Qassim Region emphasized the importance of monitoring and supporting tourism projects across all government sectors, incentivizing investors in Al-Qassim’s tourism sector, and streamlining procedures to facilitate tourism development.
Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal praised the new tourism projects, expressing his gratitude to all Council members for their contributions during this session to the Council’s work and their service to the region in one of the key economic sectors to which the state devotes the utmost care and attention—a sector that serves the nation and the people of this region in all areas.
