The session held today by the Council of Ministers in Jeddah was presided over by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him. During the session, the Council decided to approve the requirement that no real estate transaction transferring ownership of land subject to the provisions of the White Land Fees and vacant properties, until verification that the fees due on them have been paid.
The Council welcomed the outcomes of the first meeting of the Saudi-French Strategic Partnership Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect him— and His Excellency the President of the French Republic—and the launch of new initiatives, agreements, and memoranda of understanding in the fields of defense, health, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and entertainment. The roundtable meeting on investment also included the announcement of (21) agreements and memorandums of understanding; these will contribute to the development of the economic partnership between the two countries and open new horizons for cooperation and joint investment in light of the growing bilateral relations and the vast opportunities offered by “Saudi Vision 2030.”
