The in-person track of the fifth edition of the “National Workforce Development” program kicked off at the Madinah Chamber of Commerce headquarters. The program is organized by the Saudi Contractors Authority in collaboration with Medina Chamber of Commerce and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), with the aim of developing the skills of national talent and enhancing their professional readiness to work in the construction sector.
The in-person track is part of a 28-day training program comprising three interconnected tracks; beginning with a self-directed learning track in collaboration with "Monsha’at," which covers operational planning, preparing business plans and feasibility studies, human resources management, accounting for non-accountants, and marketing for startups.
This is followed by a track featuring in-person sessions with experts from the construction sector, hosted by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce for 15 days, along with practical and knowledge-based activities and exercises designed to familiarize participants with the work environment and project implementation phases, while developing their skills and enhancing their professional readiness.
The program concludes with a specialized track offered by the Saudi Contractors Authority Academy, covering topics in construction project management, occupational safety and health, budget planning and cost control, as well as the administrative, technical, and financial aspects related to efficient project implementation.
