Tuesday, September 15, 2026, marked the end of the deadline for receiving applications for the second year of the Real Estate Balance Program in Riyadh, which was announced by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City on August 16, as part of initiatives aimed at providing residential land for citizens and promoting residential ownership in the city.

The "Real Estate Balance Platform" comes in implementation of the royal decree to work on providing planned and developed residential lands for citizens, at a rate ranging between 10,000 and 40,000 plots of land annually over the next five years, at prices not exceeding 1,500 riyals per square meter.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City oversees the management of the platform, which aims to contribute to achieving real estate balance within the city, by making planned residential land available to eligible individuals within a balanced urban framework that complies with the principles of sustainable urban planning.

The platform relies on an electronic mechanism that begins with receiving applications, then announcing the eligibility lists for those who meet the conditions, followed by conducting the lottery and determining the lands, then allocation and completing the off-plan sale procedures, leading up to the completion of the ownership procedures.
The platform also relies on integration with relevant government agencies to verify data and expedite procedures, which supports the stability of the real estate market and contributes to raising the quality of life in Riyadh.
