The General Authority for Real Estate announced the commencement of the real estate registration process for (3) real estate plots in the Madinah region, starting from Sunday, September 20, 2026, until the end of Thursday, December 24, 2026.
She explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase in the region include: (part of Rahat neighborhood, part of Warqan neighborhood, part of Al-Hamra neighborhood), indicating that the selection of the neighborhoods was done according to specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to the real estate registration works in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced successively during the coming periods.
The Real Estate Authority indicated that the initial registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform.
Or through service centers, indicating that real estate registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to real estate registration to verify the property ownership deed and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for starting the registration, adding that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties stipulated in the Real Estate Registration System, which are determined by a committee specializing in reviewing violations. Inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the customer service center 199002.

Starting from the date specified for the start of registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered. The title deed will include the property data, its descriptions, its condition, and the rights and obligations associated with it, with accurate geospatial information, which will contribute to strengthening the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector. The real estate registration system aims to raise real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
