The General Authority for Real Estate announced the commencement of the real estate registration process for (28,547) real estate plots in the Riyadh region, starting from Sunday, October 25, 2026 AD, corresponding to 14 Jumada Al-Awwal 1448 AH, until the end of Thursday, January 28, 2027 AD, corresponding to 20 Shaaban 1448 AH.
Beneficiary neighborhoods
The Authority clarified that the areas benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase in the city of Riyadh include: part of the neighborhoods (an open area belonging to Al-Aziziyah Municipality), part of the neighborhoods (an open area belonging to Al-Hair Municipality), part of the neighborhoods (an open area belonging to Al-Sulai Municipality), and a number of real estate plots in Al-Artawiyah: Al-Nakheel, Al-Andalus, Al-Masif, Al-Fayha, Al-Rawdah, Al-Khaleej, Al-Wurud, Sultanah, Al-Saadah, Al-Ghadir, Al-Nahdah, and Al-Faisaliyah neighborhoods, and a number of real estate plots in Al-Hariq, part of Al-Waha neighborhood, a number of real estate plots in Al-Hayaniyah, part of Al-Nahitiyah Village neighborhood, part of Old Al-Hayaniyah neighborhood, a number of real estate plots in Jalajil: the New Industrial Area neighborhood, Sharaf neighborhood, and Plan No. 198 neighborhood, a number of real estate plots in Rawdat Sudair: Al-Shifa neighborhood, Al-Shuruq neighborhood, and Al-Ghuroub neighborhood, and a number of real estate plots in Urwah: part of them in Al-Yasmin neighborhood. The registration also includes a number of real estate plots in the following governorates and centers: (Al-Jamsh, Al-Qasab, Al-Quwai’iyah, Al-Majma’ah, Al-Ruwaidah, Rimah, Sajir, Dhurma, Afif, and Hawtat Sudair).
Area selection criteria
The Authority explained that the selection of regions and neighborhoods was done according to specific criteria, and the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods that will be subject to the real estate registration process in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced successively during the coming periods, noting that the first registration of real estate in these regions and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform: https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that real estate registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to real estate registration to verify the property ownership deed and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for starting the registration. Inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the customer service center 199002.
Starting from the date specified for the start of registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered. The title deed will include the property data, its descriptions, its condition, and the rights and obligations associated with it, with accurate geospatial information, which contributes to strengthening the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector. The real estate registration system aims to raise real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
