Prince of Riyadh lays the foundation stone of the Riyadh Exhibition Center Hotel next Wednesday

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Riyadh, will honor on Wednesday the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the Radisson Blu Hotel project at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center of the Riyadh Chamber.

On this occasion, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber thanked and appreciated His Highness the Emir of Riyadh for agreeing to lay the foundation stone of the hotel project, considering that this initiative confirms his support and encouragement for the activities of the private sector as a strategic partner of the government sector, and confirms his keenness to sponsor the activities of the Riyadh Chamber to serve and develop the private sector as its representative and expression.

For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil explained that the hotel construction project adds a new development service to the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, which is a high-end hotel accommodation service for its customers from exhibitors and participants in exhibitions and conferences hosted by the center, and for its visitors and participants in its events and activities, pointing out the importance of the accommodation sector on the economic map as one of the most important factors influencing and supporting the exhibition and conference industry and shopping tourism.

For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil explained that the hotel construction project adds a new development service to the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

While the member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center, Engineer Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Humaidi said that the hotel represents an important addition to the facilities of the center and is part of the integration of its services to provide visitors to exhibitions and conferences with a hotel accommodation service that ensures their comfort, and described the project as a support for the exhibition and conference sector.

Al-Humaidi pointed out that the hotel will be built on an area estimated at 12000 m2, and will consist of 5 floors and includes 218 rooms and suites, in addition to meeting rooms, a business club, a health club for men and women, an event hall, two restaurants, and parking for about 200 cars. The hotel's design was designed to reflect the modern architectural features of Riyadh and serve its customers whether associated with the center or from outside, and the hotel will be connected to the Riyadh metro station.

For his part, the Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Kathiri, said that the project constitutes a developmental step and an important addition to the components and services of the Riyadh International Center, stressing that the hotel will be one of the factors that contribute to stimulating the commercial, industrial and tourism economic movement in the capital Riyadh in particular and the Kingdom in general, and meets the requirements and aspirations of the Saudi business sector and keeps pace with the location of Riyadh as a distinctive and major destination for local and international exhibitions and conferences activities.
