With specialized media sponsorship from Amlak Real Estate Newspaper, Dubai will host the 15th edition of the Cityscape Global Exhibition and Conference from September 6 to 8, which serves as a major platform for showcasing the latest developments and projects in the real estate sector. The event will feature specialized programs and conferences aimed at addressing the most significant challenges facing the real estate market; whether from the perspective of investors or exhibitors. The specialized conferences offer attendees discussions and presentations on housing, in addition to the Middle East Real Estate Summit and other events, providing an unmissable opportunity to gain insight into the real estate market and the most suitable investment opportunities within it.

This year’s edition builds on the success of the previous one, with the number of exhibitors rising to 324, representing more than 30 different countries, while over 43,,000 visitors, who viewed mega-projects valued at over $100 billion, at a time when the Gulf region is witnessing a continuous boom in the launch of new real estate and infrastructure projects, despite the significant decline in oil prices.

On this occasion, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Issa, editor-in-chief of Amlak Real Estate Newspaper—the exhibition’s specialized sponsor—predicted a rise in demand for residential and commercial real estate, as well as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and entertainment facilities, and infrastructure across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Al-Issa attributed this to population growth in the Gulf region, which is increasing at a compound annual growth rate of 2.5 TP3T and is expected to reach 56.9 million by 2018, The editor-in-chief of Amlak highlighted the strength of the Gulf real estate market, noting that the value of real estate projects under development in the Gulf region is estimated at approximately $1.5 trillion through 2025, The UAE leads the way with projects in the design, bidding, or construction phases, valued at $940.5 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia in second place with projects valued at $461.2 billion, while Qatar ranks third with projects valued at $205.8 billion. The list also includes Oman ($63.5 billion) and Bahrain ($46 billion).

Reports suggest that the construction sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is likely to grow between 2015 and 2018, driven by factors including favorable economic conditions, an increase in government spending, population growth, and a booming tourism sector, as well as increased government spending on construction projects.

As a result, leading real estate professionals and experts consider the Cityscape Dubai conference and exhibition an excellent platform for marketing and networking among investors and developers in the real estate market, as well as local and regional authorities seeking to encourage investment, and investment institutions, as the exhibition provides the ideal environment for discussing critical issues that influence business decisions in the global market.

It is worth noting that Amlak Real Estate Newspaper has signed a contract with Informa Middle East, the exhibition’s organizer, to serve as the event’s specialized media sponsor, given its expertise in covering such events through its website and social media , in addition to its print edition.
