Saudi Arabian Airlines ranked highly in flight punctuality according to a report released by FlightSats for the month of July, placing among the top ten airlines,in a list that included airlines representing every continent in the world. The website specializes in aviation, airport information, and flight punctuality monitoring. In addition to showing flight punctuality rates, it provides detailed statistics on the total number of flights, the number that arrived on time, and the percentage of on-time flights relative to the total. Abdulaziz bin Rahim Al-Hazmi, Deputy Director General of Saudi Airlines, explained that the website is independent and focuses on the global aviation sector and the arrival times of more than 150,000 flights daily worldwide, as well as providing other services related to flight schedules, operational performance evaluations, and on-time departures and arrivals, in addition to offering the most comprehensive aviation alerts for travelers and those interested in tracking flights. He noted that the month of July spanned from the 22nd of Sha’ban to the 23rd of Ramadan—a period that sees peak travel between various regions of the Kingdom and around the world. As this coincides with the summer vacation season and follows the Umrah season, it posed a challenge that Saudi Airlines worked to addressthrough early planning and operational readiness. More than 500 domestic and international flights were operated daily, with on-time performance rates frequently exceeding 90%. Al-Hazmi stated that these competitive rates reflect the success of the corporation’s strategic plans, both during peak seasons and throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of continuing operational efforts to achieve the desired benefits from Saudi Airlines“ membership in the global alliance ”SkyTeam“—which includes 19 airlines worldwide—which has expanded the scope of reciprocal services among alliance members, thereby positively contributing to a comprehensive level of service that provides comfort and luxury to passengers on alliance airlines anywhere in the world.
