On the same subject, the Director General of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Taif, Abdullah bin Obaidallah Al-Sowat, confirmed that the Authority has begun to implement the new tourism system, and the implementation of field control campaigns on tourist accommodation facilities to ensure compliance with the provisions of the system, under the follow-up of HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, Al-Sowat stressed the application of penalties for violating tourist accommodation facilities that reach closing the facility in case of repeated violations or non-response to the application of rules and regulations.
