In compliance with the rules and regulations governing the work of the tourism and hospitality sector, the Tourism and National Heritage Authority branch in Madinah conducted field, control and inspection tours that resulted in eighteen violating accommodation establishments that were fined a total of five hundred and thirty thousand riyals.

This, the Authority has received through the toll-free phone many complaints where the inspection teams responded to the complaints by imposing fines on the violating houses, and Al-Shahrani confirmed that the teams continue to carry out their field tours and intensify monitoring during the month of Ramadan and the summer vacation, as usual in all seasons and holidays, calling on citizens and residents to report their complaints and observations on prices and services by calling 19988 at the Tourism Call Center.
