Committed to international environmental standards and social responsibility to contribute to the prosperity of individuals, the environment, the economy and society, The Saudi Investment Bank (SAIB) has signed a tripartite initiative agreement with the Charitable Society for Orphan Care (INSAN) and the National Environmental Recycling Company (Tadweer), under the title “Our Footprint - Sponsor an orphan with your old device.”
The agreement stipulates the safe recycling of the bank's electronic and electrical waste in accordance with international environmental standards, and directing part of the recycling proceeds to support the activities of “Insan” association. The bank's role is to collect electronic and electrical waste (computers, telecommunications, refrigerators, air conditioners, ovens, etc.) through its employees throughout the Kingdom and deduct a percentage of the total value in favor of “Insan” association
The agreement stipulates that the bank's electronic and electrical waste will be recycled safely within international environmental standards.
The initiative aims to preserve the health of citizens and residents, especially children, preserve the Kingdom's environment, create job opportunities for Saudis with the priority of hiring orphans, localize the technology of recycling electronic and electrical waste in the Kingdom, and support orphans through the activities of "Insan" Association, including entrepreneurship programs and health care programs for orphans.
The initiative aims to preserve the health of citizens and residents, especially children, and preserve the Kingdom's environment.
