The Madinah Chamber of Commerce participated in a seminar organized by Saudi Telecom Company (STC), represented by its Business Sector, titled ”Sales Development for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” at the Le Méridien Hotel. The seminar was opened by Eng. Abdullah Al-Muhanna, Acting Vice President of Corporate Sales at STC, who emphasized the important role that small and medium-sized enterprises play in the local economy.
Al-Muhanna discussed the Business Sector’s efforts at Saudi Telecom Company to strengthen its strategic partnership with these enterprises to enable them to meet the requirements of digital transformation, provide customized telecommunications and information technology solutions and services to meet the needs of this segment, and foster a culture of business advancement to achieve success and increase added value for the national economy—which is the central pillar of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
For his part, Abdul Halim Lal, Secretary General of the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the efforts of Saudi Telecom Company and the technical support it provides to small and medium-sized enterprises, in addition to meeting all their technical needs, Suhail Al-Faris, Director of Marketing Planning for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, reviewed the most important and prominent solutions and services provided by STC Business to small and medium-sized enterprises, The audience was also briefed on a presentation by Mohammed Al-Nabhan regarding the electronic services provided to customers in the sector, which keep pace with global developments and aim to streamline the customer experience and achieve the highest levels of satisfaction.
Dr. Ahmed bin Suhail Ajina, a marketing expert and head of the Marketing Department at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj, several ways and means to boost sales in small and medium-sized enterprises, emphasizing the need to select the best salespeople to achieve the desired results, the importance of developing salespeople and equipping them with sufficient knowledge of strategic objectives, and the importance of developing products that meet customer needs and expectations, as well as building brand reputation and recognition.
