After a protracted legal battle lasting more than 12 years, the Ministry of Justice, represented by the competent judicial circuit, concluded the Rabou" Makkah case after the circuit issued its ruling on Tuesday, the 20th of Dhu al-Qi’dah. The court ruled to restore the rights of the 2,700 shareholders to the land, which has a total area of 3,666,711 square meters in Makkah, In addition, the land had been the subject of a dispute between the two parties, and the court confirmed the sale to one of them.

The Chamber decided to impose disciplinary measures on those found guilty of filing a malicious lawsuit, based on the second paragraph of Article 3 of the Sharia Procedural Code. It announced that anyone dissatisfied with the rulings has the right to file an objection, and set next Tuesday, the 27th of Dhu al-Qi’dah 1437 AH, as the date for receiving a copy of the judgment pursuant to Article 179 of the Sharia Procedural Code, noting that the period for filing an objection is thirty days pursuant to Article 187 of the same code. The Real Estate Contributions Department, which operates under the supervision of the Real Estate Contributions Committee of the Supreme Judicial Council, had issued its first rulings last Ramadan after issuing a ruling to restore the rights of shareholders in ”Al-Nourus Contribution," and this month, it resolved the second troubled real estate contribution—which is considered the most valuable in terms of market value—by restoring the remaining rights of the shareholders of "Rabou" Makkah."

It is worth noting that the Minister of Justice and President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Muhammad Al-Samaani, approved at the beginning of the month of Rajab of this year, 1437 AH, the consideration of real estate contribution cases in the General Court in Riyadh.
