With the participation of a select group of experts, specialists, and academics in the fields of real estate and finance, the "Real Estate Industry" Forum will be held on October 25 and 26 at the InterContinental Jeddah Hotel, under the patronage of University President Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to engaging with societal issues and strengthening the partnership between the university and the private sector to advance the educational and professional aspects of the real estate market and its requirements, thereby preparing future leaders in real estate disciplines.
The forum is being organized at a time when real estate experts anticipate that this sector will be a key driver of growth for the national economy, meeting citizens’ needs for both housing and employment, The forum will explore ways to develop the economic aspects of real estate markets, the role of higher education institutions in the real estate industry, and the identification of the labor market’s needs for real estate management specializations. The forum aims to prepare leaders capable of presenting and exchanging information in the proper context, and to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to use technology to advance lifelong learning, as well as to develop the expertise and skills required to research, analyze, evaluate, and disseminate information that contributes to problem-solving and promotes growth and knowledge. Among the forum’s key themes are education and housing in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, real estate appraisal, real estate financing, real estate marketing, real estate development, and real estate information systems.
