35 specialized speakers at the Dubai Global Project Management Forum in October

With 200 leaders and 35 speakers in attendance, the Dubai World Project Management Forum will kick off under the theme «Envisioning the Future» from October 22 to 25, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and organized by the Roads and Transport Authority in collaboration with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Emaar Properties, and the Global Project Management Institute.

The forum will address numerous topics related to project management and will highlight experiences and case studies of various types of projects, Among the most notable success stories to be presented at the forum is Dubai’s experience, with all its advantages and characteristics that have made it a global success story and a role model not only for the region but for the entire world, The forum will also address a number of key themes, including sustainable project management, project management in academia, project management for entrepreneurs, agile project management, project management for youth, corporate project management, leadership in a multicultural environment, realizing project benefits, public-private partnerships, talent management, and megaproject management.

In the same context, the Roads and Transport Authority announced that Bill McDermott, CEO and Board Member of the global company SAP SE, will participate as a keynote speaker at the forum.

Matar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Roads and Transport Authority, revealed that the forum’s organizing committee selected Bill McDermott for his more than three decades of experience in business technology, having progressively risen through the ranks to his current position as CEO. He previously held senior executive roles at Sable Systems and Gartner, and began his business career at Xerox. Bill McDermott joined SAP SE in 2002. He leads the company, which has 78,000 employees, as well as more than two million people in an ecosystem of strategic partners, to implement SAP’s vision and strategy for improving the way businesses operate.
