Chinese government honors Mohammed Al-Ajlan for his efforts in expanding friendship between the two countries

The Chinese government, represented by Shandong Province, honored businessman Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Al-Ajlan & Brothers” Group, and Vice Chairman of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, for his efforts to expand the scope of friendship between Saudi business leaders and their Chinese counterparts, as well as for his past and ongoing efforts to strengthen the bonds of friendship and mutual commercial partnership between the two countries, and for the role and achievements of the Ajlan & Brothers Group in economic cooperation and social development, its many significant accomplishments in the region, and its contributions to supporting economic development. A grand ceremony was held on this occasion, organized by the Shandong Provincial Government, which is one of the largest industrial regions in the People’s Republic of China.

On this occasion, Mohammed Al-Ajlan expressed his deep gratitude for this recognition from the Shandong government, stating: "This award is an honor for the Kingdom as a whole, which has achieved a leading position in its foreign relations based on mutual respect and the pursuit of common interests, and in its approach to building strategic economic alliances and partnerships with global economic powers, with the support of the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God preserve him, who has dedicated most of its time and effort.

Al-Ajlan considered that this honor reflects the growing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic sphere, where trade and investment relations between the Kingdom and China are witnessing remarkable development, He explained that China is one of the Kingdom’s most important and largest economic partners, and that economic leaders at the government level and in the Saudi business sector attach great importance to building commercial and economic partnerships in various fields, given China’s significant human resources and technological and economic potential.
