A workshop titled “The Reality of Investing in Furnished Residential Units” will be held on April 2, 2013, as part of the sixth edition of the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum 2013, organized by the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities has urged investors in the furnished residential units sector, as well as those interested in and experts in tourism and economic affairs, to participate in the workshop’s activities.
The forum’s workshop will feature a select group of experts from inside and outside the Kingdom, including Hans Chid, CEO of Horath Consulting in Dubai, who will speak during the workshop about investment in residential units, He will be joined by a number of panelists, including: Mushab Al-Dosari, owner of Al-Rehab Group and Aknan Furnished Residential Units; Musa Al-Musa, owner of Talin Group for Furnished Residential Units; and Thamer Al-Rajib, owner of the Ashad Group for furnished residential units. The session will be moderated by Dr. Hamad Al-Sama’il, Deputy President for Investment at the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities. The workshop will address a range of topics, as follows: An assessment of the operational status and current level of services provided in furnished residential units in the Kingdom; individual investment in furnished residential units; the role of management and operating companies for furnished residential units in supporting and developing this sector; the role of human resources in the success of investment in the furnished residential units sector; the economic returns on investment in the development of furnished residential units; investment activities and potential uses both within and outside furnished residential units; best investment practices in furnished residential units, and operational performance and the quality of tourism services in the furnished residential units sector.
