The reality of stalled projects
On the crisis of stalled projects, CEO of Danat Real Estate Company Saud Al-Rushoudi believes that the stalled projects are very few if compared to the size of the huge market, considering that the failure of some projects does not give a true indication of the existence of a crisis, nor does it accurately reflect the total existing projects, while the CEO of Al-Saeed Real Estate Company, Salem Al-Marri, attributes the causes of failure in some projects to what he described as poor project management and poor study. Salem Al-Marri attributes the causes of stumbling in some projects to what he described as poor project management and poor study. Al-Marri also attributes the temporary stagnation to rumors circulating in the market, which he described as rumors not based on facts, or a wrong understanding of the market, but he said that the market began to be free from those rumors, and expected the return of real estate prosperity as of the end of 2010.
Lack of vision Khalid Al-Mubaid, Managing Director and Executive Partner of Basma Real Estate Management Company, refuses to attribute the stalled projects to the repercussions of the global financial crisis or the existence of a real liquidity crisis among investors and developers that makes them unable to complete their projects, but rather to the lack of a clear vision among the owners of the stalled projects of the market conditions, accusing most of them of building without a clear study, and therefore hesitating to complete their projects!
