The 33rd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction will open in Riyadh tomorrow, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of H.E. Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.
The meeting will discuss a number of topics related to the development of the housing sector at the level of Arab countries, and review the most prominent aspects of joint cooperation and ways to enhance it in what serves, develops and promotes the sector.
The agenda of the session includes the presentation of the items that the Executive Office of the Council followed up on at its 81st meeting, including the management and maintenance of joint housing complexes, the celebration of Arab Housing Day, updates on the website of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction and the design of the database and information to activate the objectives of the Council, follow-up on the implementation of Arab Economic, Development and Social Summit resolutions regarding housing, cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Program, Arab cooperation with regional groupings and foreign countries in the field of housing and reconstruction, and the strategy of the
The agenda of the meeting also includes the exchange of information between Arab countries on pioneering projects in the field of housing, in addition to updates on the Arab Center for the Prevention of Earthquakes and Other Natural Disasters, in addition to considering the amendment of some articles of the statutes of the Council to keep pace with developments in the framework of development and reform in the League of Arab States, and following up on what concerns the Arab Housing Conference.
