Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, and our dear country on the occasion of the issuance of the Kingdom's budget for 2017, stressing that the budget for 1438-1439 reflects the strength of the national economy and its ability to face various challenges, noting that it carries with it many good in all fields and sectors, including the housing sector that receives attention and care from the wise leadership.
<p style="text-align: justify;Haqeel stressed in his statement that the fiscal balance program that came within the budget guarantees low- and middle-income citizens a decent life in light of the economic challenges, and comes in continuation of progress and development, achieving, God willing, the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020, thus promoting sustainable development of this dear homeland. He pointed out that the state continues to support all areas of housing, education, health, military and other fields.
The Minister of Housing stated that the Al-Khair budget includes the provision of housing products to citizens distributed in all regions of the Kingdom during 2017, indicating that the Ministry of Housing launched many programs that contribute to organizing and facilitating a balanced and sustainable housing environment through two main pillars: supporting supply and enabling demand, based on the unlimited support of the wise leadership, noting that the Ministry continues its march to achieve the directives of the rulers, may God protect them, and meet the ambitions and hopes of citizens in providing adequate housing with various options, quality and appropriate price.
Minister of Housing <In a statement on the occasion of the issuance of the state's general budget, Al-Haqeel explained that the state budget continued to meet basic services and continued spending on all sectors and overcame global economic conditions and challenges, in order to promote economic and social welfare and decent living and provide everything citizens need, and the diversification of income sources in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, and reaching a balanced budget by 2020 in a way that supports economic growth and the flow of local and foreign investments, activating the role and development of the private sector and increasing its contribution to GDP.
He pointed out that the amendments to the system of support for products such as energy and some commodities, the approval of some government programs and incentives, and the introduction of various new fees come within the framework of the trend to diversify sources of income, enhance the level of growth, reduce and rationalize government spending while providing direct cash support to citizens who are eligible for support.
