Damac Properties has signed a 450 million riyal construction contract with Drake & Scull International for the “Al-Jawhara” project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The 42-story “Al Jawhara” project is located on the Jeddah Corniche along the Red Sea and has a total area of 86,196 square meters; This residential tower will feature five-bedroom penthouses, as well as one- through four-bedroom apartments. DAMAC stated that construction on the 42-story project will begin in the coming weeks and is expected to be completed in approximately 28 months.
This contract is one of several new contracts Damac has secured across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) this year, including a 500-million-dirham contract to build “Damac Heights” in Dubai, and two contracts worth 420 million dirhams for two projects in Abu Dhabi.
