Thamer Al Ghoneim: Al Diyafa Hotels will continue its investment projects in 2017

Thamer Al-Ghunaim, CEO of Al-Diyafa Hotels, stated that the Ministry of Housing’s current policies help citizens own their own homes at an affordable price, explaining that these policies help regulate the residential real estate market and increase supply in a way that meets the Kingdom’s growing demand, the effects of which will become clearly evident in the medium and long term. Al-Ghunaim noted the need to provide citizens with various financing options that are commensurate with their income and enable them to purchase what suits their needs.

In an exclusive statement to Amlak, Al-Ghunaim explained that the company achieved numerous milestones in 2016, including the marketing of its existing projects in the Kingdom, in addition to our investments abroad—such as in London and Dubai, where we own residential and office towers. We will continue what we started last year with promotional offers and participation in real estate exhibitions to showcase our residential and commercial products and present them appropriately to the relevant target audience.

Regarding public demand, Al-Ghunaim emphasized that the current trend is toward small- and medium-sized homes due to rising electricity and water costs.
