<The Royal Commission launches the seventh edition of the construction guidebook in Jubail Industrial City The Projects Department at the Royal Commission in Jubail launched the seventh edition of the construction guidebook in Jubail Industrial City after it was developed and directed to coincide with the urban and industrial renaissance that the city is experiencing, and the Director of the Projects Department at the Royal Commission, Engineer Saud Al-Saadoun explained that this guidebook was prepared to help the private sector, especially individuals and engineering offices, to know the requirements of construction in Jubail Industrial City and the procedures governing it. He added that the aim of the guide is to raise awareness among the citizens of the city about building laws and regulations and also to raise the level of quality required for construction work for individual residential projects, stressing that these regulations will be updated periodically whenever the need arises. The guide contains the requirements for licenses, official papers, architectural, structural and electrical requirements, in addition to some proposed building materials according to the specifications of the Royal Commission. The booklet also addresses the sections of building licenses issued by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, which are divided into three sections: a building license for a new facility, a license to make a modification within the boundaries of the property, including residential buildings, commercial and industrial facilities, in addition to the license for commercial shops. It is worth mentioning that the guide is available in paper and electronic versions.
