With an investment of 1.1 billion dirhams, Rotana Hotels plans to open four new hotels in Abu Dhabi over the next four years, adding approximately 1,400 hotel rooms to its portfolio in the emirate, bringing the group’s total number of hotels and resorts in Abu Dhabi to 16.
Two hotels will open this year: the Pearl Rotana, featuring 315 luxury rooms and suites, scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2017, as well as the five-star Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas, which will open its doors during the fourth quarter of this year.
The Saadiyat Resort & Villas consists of 354 rooms and suites, as well as 13 luxury villas located on a private beach. This will be followed by the opening of the Arjan by Rotana Beach Hotel in the third quarter of 2018, which will feature 326 rooms and suites. The group also plans to open the Arjaan by Rotana Marina Mall Hotel before the end of 2020, which will feature 376 rooms and suites.
