According to a joint cooperation agreement signed by the Riyadh Chamber and the Free Thinking Foundation for organizing exhibitions and conferences, the Chamber intends to organize the Saudi Marketing Conference in its fifth edition in 2017, which aims to upgrade the concept of marketing and activate it within the economic sectors, in order to revive the Saudi markets and open modern marketing outlets for national products.

The agreement, signed by the Chamber's Secretary General Ahmed bin Ali Al-Suwailem and the Foundation's Director General Dr. Abdulhi Mekdad, requires the two parties to formulate the policies of the conference and determine its scientific content, and the agreement is valid for four years from 2017 to 2020, during which both parties are committed to cooperate in organizing the conference once a year.

It is noteworthy that the Foundation owns the intellectual property rights to the conference and has already organized four editions of the conference, the last of which was in 2016. This year's conference adopts several themes, including enhancing the construction of effective marketing campaigns to stimulate and increase sales, as well as highlighting the role of influencers in organizing marketing campaigns, the legal challenges of marketing in the era of new media, the role of the creative marketer, success and failure stories in this field and lessons learned from them.
