Four entities have completed their preparations for the launch of the Jeddah Travel and Tourism Exhibition, which will be held in conjunction with the Haya Jeddah Shopping Festival and seeks to provide thousands of job opportunities and attract more than (25,000) visitors in the exhibition hall of the Jeddah Hilton Hotel from February 4-6, 2014, which is the largest tourism summit during which decision makers in the tourism field from the public and private sectors and international tourism companies meet.
<More than 150 tourism organizations
More than 150 tourism companies and destinations have announced their participation in the exhibition, which is organized by 4M Group for the organization of exhibitions and conferences, with the support of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities and the Jeddah Governorate Municipality, and will last for three days, as international delegations seize the opportunity to market their tourist destinations to attract more Arab tourists to them.
The exhibition is an opportunity to make business deals between exhibiting and visiting companies on the one hand and an opportunity to enrich the discussion on developing cooperation and exchanging experiences between decision makers and tourism investors.

For his part, Adnan bin Hussein Mandoura, Secretary General of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his hope that holding the exhibition in conjunction with the Haya Jeddah Shopping Festival (January 10 to February 8, 2014) will attract the largest number of visitors and achieve the highest degree of success in light of the great potential of the bride of the Red Sea, which provides all types of tourism.
It has the longest Corniche in the Middle East, is considered the city of international conferences, forums and exhibitions at the level of the region, has advanced hospitals and medical centers in addition to the presence of natural reserves, in addition to its great readiness to host major sports events with the completion of King Abdullah Sports City, and the presence of hundreds of centers, markets and parks spread throughout its streets.
He pointed out that the travel and tourism exhibition, which includes a large number of international and Arab entities, brings together all sectors related to travel and the tourism industry, as it is an opportunity to meet with a wide segment of the Saudi public who want to see tourism offers and provide an opportunity for interested parties and researchers to discuss the most important tourism-related topics with decision-makers and help participating companies reach the target segment and benefit from the accompanying marketing campaign.
International recognition
For her part, the head of the organizing committee, Maya bint Hassan Halfawi, stressed that the exhibition has gained great international fame and reputation and is at the top of the exhibitions held in this sector with an area of 4800 square meters, and targets the sectors of shopping, entertainment, accommodation, embassies, consulates, health and hospitalization tourism, travel and tourism agencies, real estate development for tourism facilities, tourism development committees in the Kingdom's regions, tourism service providers, training and qualification.
It works to highlight the most important tourism services in the countries of the world as it is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and brings together all sectors related to this industry, and allows business owners and investors to conclude deals with the countries participating in the exhibition. She pointed out that the exhibition, which annually attracts (200) exhibitors from travel and tourism companies and institutions from inside and outside the Kingdom, has set core objectives to highlight tourism services in the region and contribute to tourism development and highlight the latest developments in the service and tourism sector, in addition to attracting the largest number of tourists from home and abroad and providing an opportunity for tourism and travel companies to promote their tourism programs and offers through the exhibition, as well as highlighting the tourism industry by introducing new tourism products and activating the exchange of experiences between industry owners.
She pointed out that the exhibition presents 7 types of modern tourism targeted by the exhibition in its third edition, including medical, environmental, marine, conference and shopping tourism, then sports tourism of all kinds and recreational tourism that includes traveling to well-known tourist places, noting that tourism is no longer as it was in the past, but its branches have branched out and overlapped, and has become involved in most areas of daily life.
Main tourism events
Helfaoui pointed out that the exhibition has established itself as one of the most prominent tourism events in the region since its launch four years ago by providing a space that allows industry professionals to communicate with each other on the one hand and communicate with visitors to offer their services and offers on the other hand and make new deals.
The exhibition also complements government initiatives aimed at developing and diversifying the travel and tourism sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
