The activities of the Riyadh Shopping and Entertainment Festival 2017 will kick off on the ninth of Shawwal in its 13th edition, where the Riyadh Chamber signed the contracts for the month-long festival, sponsorship contracts with a number of companies represented by the Arabian Centers, the sponsor of hosting the opening ceremony of the festival, Antour Hotels, Ballonizer, Hair and Skin Care Center, Sun and Sand, Hamad Abdullah Al-Essa & Sons and Novalac.

On behalf of the Chamber, Mohammed Al-Mojel, Vice Chairman of the Tourism and Entertainment Committee at Riyadh Chamber and Vice Chairman of the Festival Organizing Committee, signed on behalf of the Chamber in the presence of Majid Al-Hokair, Chairman of the Tourism and Entertainment Committee and Chairman of the Festival Organizing Committee, in the presence of the Festival's organizing consultant, Dr. Khalid Al-Saeed and officials of the Chamber of Commerce. After signing the sponsorship contracts, Al-Mojel thanked the sponsors. <Al-Mojel appreciated the role of these companies in supporting this annual event and the marketing, entertainment and tourism window that is awaited every year by the people of Riyadh from citizens and residents as the most important event in the capital in terms of the number of visitors, which exceeds ten million since its launch until its end, as well as the number of participating entities ”23“ commercial and entertainment organizations. Al-Majel stated that these sponsors will provide all means and elements of support of all kinds in order to make the festival successful and achieve the goals and objectives for which it was launched, explaining that the festival was carefully and meticulously prepared to fit the capital and be a model in terms of management, organization and commitment by the participating parties to the rules set by the Chamber and supervised in order to achieve the desired effect, which is to create economic, commercial, recreational and tourism promotion for the people of Riyadh and meet their marketing needs in the summer period. In his statement, Al-Majel stressed that the festival is witnessing in its thirteenth edition the most important and prominent event since its launch with the event (Dragon Acrobat), which will be held in the southern squares of the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, which includes the participation of professional acrobatic teams from around the world to provide international acrobatic and acrobatic performances in the circus tent that can accommodate 1500 people.
